Sandra Ann, Chief Executive Consultant, who holds the Canadian International Trade Professional (CITP) designation, has over three decades of experience as a business and communications consultant.

As a World Bank Consultant, she was responsible for establishing and serving as the first head of the Guyana Office for Investment (GO-Invest). She subsequently served as a Consultant on Investment and Private Sector Development in Guyana’s Ministry of Finance. Based in Barbados for over 10 years, Sandra Ann was a Communications Consultant with the European Union’s Caribbean Office, Caribbean Export Development Agency and the West Indian Commission, set up by Caribbean Heads of Government to review CARICOM. She managed a Canadian-funded institutional strengthening project for the Guyana Manufacturing and Services Association (GMSA) and has received commendations from the GMSA and the Georgetown Chamber of Commerce.

A specialist in Caribbean Affairs for over three decades, she is the author of “Caribbean Perspectives”, a collection of print and broadcast material covering 34 years of CARICOM. During her media career, she worked for the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC), the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation (CBC), the Barbados-based Caribbean News Agency and Caribbean Broadcasting Corporation.

A Graduate of City University in the U.K., the University of the West Indies, and Centennial College in Toronto, she holds an M.A. in International Journalism with distinction and Diplomas in International Trade, Business Management, and International Relations. Sandra Ann, who is a Canadian certified “Teacher of Adults”, is also trained in International Investment Promotion, Small Business Development and Human Resources Management.
