Mark, our travel specialist, is an award-winning Canadian travel writer who has been producing travel features for Caribbean Business & Travel since it was launched in 2016.

Together with his wife, Sharon Matthews-Stevens, whose photos are featured in our business magazine, they have won writing and photography awards from organizations as diverse as Ontario Tourism, Travel Media Association of Canada (TMAC) and the Caribbean Tourism Organization (CTO).

A former President of TMAC, Mark won awards for his features on Antigua and Barbuda and Saint Lucia in Caribbean Business & Travel.

His unique writing style takes you on a journey to various Caribbean islands, exploring landmarks, culture and food and completely immerses the reader in the allure of the destination.
