
Marguerite is a Consultant who provides input for all of the group’s projects and publications. She is a an administrative, communications and customer care specialist with extensive experience in the banking industry and regional organizations.
For over a decade, Marguerite was the Administrative/Finance official at the Georgetown-based Inter-American Institute for Cooperation in Agriculture (IICA). She also served in a similar capacity at the Caribbean Forum of African, Caribbean and Pacific States (CARIFORUM) Programming unit, which she established from its inception. This project involved servicing all the regional member countries and included coordinating major meetings and conferences as well as hosting visiting delegations.
She has had considerable experience delivering training programs in customer relations and telephone techniques for the former Guyana National Cooperative Bank (GNCB).
Marguerite, who has completed numerous communications courses, served as the bank’s Public Relations Officer (PRO) and Assistant Manager (Personnel). Marguerite has also worked at the Royal Bank of Canada in Georgetown, Guyana and Toronto.
Marguerite’s top-notch people and communication skills are widely known through her role as an accomplished actress at the Guyana Theatre Guild.
